Waitangi weekend’s Monthly Hometown workshop is a special one with Jaya of Superfoods & Spices taking the Saturday afternoon technical class, and then after the Led Counted Class on Sunday she will take us on a field trip to Sandringham where can enjoy a delicious Indian lunch followed by spice shopping which Jaya will assist us with to buy the spices talked about in Saturday’s afternoon class.
Also on Friday night after Led Chandra/Moon Class you are welcome to join us for dinner at the fabulous new Sahana South Indian Restaurant just few minutes walk from the studio.
(please note lunch, dinner and spice shopping is at one’s own expense).
During the Saturday afternoon we will taste some delicious treats as we talk about: three cornerstones of food, 7 basic superfoods, 7 basic spices, Introduction to masala/ spice box, basic spice combinations, 10 traditional Ayurvedic cleansing practices to help your yoga practice.

Friday Night 6-8pm: Led Chandra -with Martina
Saturday Morning 9:30am-12noon: Cultivating Self Practice (Mysore Style) -with Martina
Saturday Afternoon 2-4pm: Superfoods and Spices Technical Class -with Jaya
9:00am-10:15am: Uddiyana Bandha, Kriyas, Pranayama & Meditation -with Martina
10:15am-12noon: Led Counted Ashtanga Full Primary Series -with Martina
12:30pm-2:30pm: Spices Field trip & lunch -with Jaya
(No charge for field trip, though lunch and spice shopping at one own expense)
Monday Morning 9:30am-12noon: Cultivating Self Practice (Mysore Style) -with Martina
n.b.Both Friday evening and Sunday morning sessions will be at Centre for Contemporary Yoga Studies,
349 Remuera Road, Remuera.
Full Weekend: $140
Single session: $25
Regular Class pass holders: $5 + one click on pass for each class
Monthly Pass holders: all classes included in monthly pass
