Martina is excited to be teaching this workshop in her home town, after much travel over the last few months, including teaching this particular workshop internationally, she is happy to be sharing it with the local yogis.
In this workshop session we explore simple techniques to help open and release tension in the shoulders, a common area of restriction, access the core in unexpected ways to stabilise the spine and open the hip flexor area of the front body, all of which also help develop backbends so we can truly experience the therapeutic uplifting benefits of these postures.
Winter is the perfect time for the study and research of a workshop like this.
Practicing through this time is often challenging as the body and mind naturally move into a hibernating state, though the practice during this time is vital, planting the seeds, so when spring arrives, change and growth can happen with ease.
